I am Deputy Director for the European Grid Infrastructure and Project Coordinator for the e-ScienceTalk project. The European Grid Infrastructure (EGI) delivers integrated computing services to European researchers. e-ScienceTalk brings the success stories of Europe's e-infrastructure to a wider audience. The project coordinates the dissemination outputs of EGI and other European e-Infrastructure projects, ensuring their results and influence are reported in print and online.
I would like to pose a question to the group about measuring the impact of social media activities. How do you analyse and track the results of communications activities using these tools?
I am currently involved in communications for two FP7 projects, EGI-InSPIRE, which provides grid computing services to support innovation and research in Europe, and e-ScienceTalk, which communicates the outcomes and results of e-infrastructure projects in Europe and beyond.
