I just heard about a new initiative launched almost 2 weeks ago by DG Enterprise. It is about a "Public Consultation on demand-side policies to spur European industrial innovation in a global market" which will last until 06/09/2012.
They basically ask for two types of ideas for potential new policy measures: on the one hand they look for input to improve the European environment for innovation, and on the other hand to speed-up the transfer of innovations to the market.
