Requiring 'European Union' as a region
While we all work hard towards a true European "UNION", Europe is still seen as a conglomerate of countries.
How about a policy that requires software companies to have "European Union" as a region like the "United States". "European Union" should then include or point to any or all 27 EU Member Countries.
Today we have several hundred countries to chose from in any software but Europe is never one of them. This is quite a disadvantage for marketers, sales organization, advertising selection....

Digital Sunrise - Evolution
What started with a proposal to the Digital Agenda 2012 is now taking a life of its own. Thanks to hundreds of contributors here in the forum, the encouragement of the EC team and around 2,000 contributors in other groups, the project was an overwhelming success and way beyond expectations.
THANK YOU
A big thanks to all of you who participated in the workshops yesterday and to those who worked from their home base.

Obviously we had opponents, people who disagreed with content or style but in the end we came farther than most of us including myself imagined when we started.
