Thanks Staff,
OK. Can we take the step of bringing the two media's together now. You're now at the stage where you, very nearly, have a working example of the reconstruction required. The change is that the "event's broadcast" are now to be situated within this social space you've created for them. This the basis of the new media model.
On each group's "theme" space you've pointed at/linked to the one broadcast channel - which will work during the events, and after, the combined recordings will get buried in the archives. i.e. out of the context with the (inter-institutional) social spaces provided for both before, during and after, events.
So we can now illustrate the model, at least mentally, by considering that these group spaces are where the live events, whether broadcasts of people F2F in a small room or video conferences, which might take place in the future, should be broadcasted from and archived. This what the group spaces look like when you take a perspective outside the ec.europa.eu domain. http://www.globalplaza.org/spaces
And that's the other point, we need a directory for these (similar) inter-institutional group spaces as today they are buried around so many EU sponsored domains. We also need the teams, like INFO who exist in every silotic EU project domain, to collaborate in providing integrated AV/social network services. After all they are inter-institutional groups as well. (At least, that's discussion which has been going on over here for a while. http://www.terena.org/activities/media/ )
