First Progress Report
The #da12social strategy team had its second workshop where we decided to build 5 teams, now working hard on the initial assessment. The whole team is 34 people strong.
We arranged with some top Social Media Monitoring vendors to get licenses for the research and training for the whole team next week. We expect some initial research results week after next. The assessment is the foundation for the strategy development.
The most recent presentation can be seen here: http://www.slideshare.net/SocialMedia-Europe
In parallel we started an awareness initiative to gain additional attention and win people joining the initiative. Olaf Kracht created a professional video clip as an intro to the project and an invitation to possibly join. http://socialmediatelevision.tv/
You can see some nice increase in activities around #da12social on the first reports, provided here: http://fb.com/DigitalAgendaEurope
The whole program team is now close to 100 people strong. That helped getting the number of fans quickly up to over 1,500 fans in just a few days.
We also expanded our social presence onto several other networks and sites. Thanks to Elana who created a Pinterest Account, Berry Pelser who setup a wordpress blog, Billy Steward who created additional apps for the Facebook page, Marita Roebkes who setup a ScoopIT and SlideShare account. All networks and sites are accessible from one URL: http://XeeMe.com/da12social
We will keep you posted.
