Consultation meeting on SPOCS final results
SPOCS partners invite you to a “Consultation meeting on SPOCS final results” on June 20 2012 (Permanent Representation of Austria, Avenue de Cortenbergh 30, Brussels). Within the context of starting a business and providing services on a temporary basis in another European country, SPOCS has led the work needed to realise true cross- border interoperability. This includes the realisation of technical solutions to support this but also helping identify equivalent documents in participating countries. We are now looking for broader commitment to help take this forward. This is why we want to share our results and exchange ideas with those Member States that are not participating in the SPOCS project and SPOCS partners who are not piloting yet, as well as industry stakeholders and standardization bodies in order to improve the usefulness of the final SPOCS solutions.
During the meeting, you will be able to:
Get a preview of the final results of the SPOCS project.
Discuss what solutions SPOCS could deliver for you.
Collect ideas regarding sustainability and standardization.
Build strong relationships with those Member States/partners that will be part of the new project on Basic Cross Sector Services (as called for in the CIP ICT PSP WP 2012)

It looks very interesting. Do you have any website with interim results to share?
Thank you for your interest
Thank you for your interest in the project. You can register to the SPOCS site (www.eu-spocs.eu) and while registering you can choose to participate to the online group that better suits your needs (MS, Industry, Business representatives etc). Under each online group there is an internal calendar with more information on the SPOCS final consultation (such as documents, reports, leaflets, agenda etc). The interim reports will be sent by email at the beginning of next week to the meeting participants as well.
Otherwise you can email communication@eu-spocs.eu
What if we dont want a single
What if we dont want a single point of contact? What if we should keep healthcare, tax, educastion, crime, shoold etc. isolated from eachother?
Then where is the interoperability of an approach assuming interlinkage?
I guess you mean to have one
I guess you mean to have one PSC for everything. That is not where SPOCS is about. SPOCS helps foreign entrepreneurs to start up a business in another EU country. That is good for the economy, isn’t it?
